History
Chris Benoit's journey to the top has ended right where it should
on top, in the World Wrestling Federation. There is no doubt that
this young man has already proven he can achieve extraordinary
things inside the squared circle, and now that he's with the WWF,
his career may hit heights few have seen before.
After only having been a part of the Federation for a few months,
Benoit has won the Intercontinental title from Chris Jericho and
Kurt Angle.
The first time Benoit won the title was at WrestleMania 2000.
There, he took the title from Angle, but pinned Jericho to win in
a Two-Fall Triple Threat Match.
